Delivering additional cloud computing credits for Really High Distinction.
Starting today, I am committed to share additional cloud computing credits for accomplishing university course assignments.[note:1][note:2]
Not just for individual assignments, but also for group assignments allocated to the following course units and teaching periods:
| Course Unit | Teaching Period |
|---|---|
| FIT5145 - Foundations of data science | 2026 Semester 1 |
| FIT5225 - Cloud computing and security | 2026 Semester 1 |
| FIT5239 - Deep tech entrepreneurship | 2026 Semester 1 |
| FIT5037 - Network security | 2026 Semester 2 |
| FIT5120 - Industry experience studio project | 2026 Semester 2 |
If you are allocated to any of these course units and belong to the same assignment group with me, you’ll get chance to have these infrastructure set up:
- 🛠️ Access to real VPS infrastructure, including AWS, Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud, Hostinger, IDWebHost, and Oracle Cloud (OCI).
- 📛 A share of public DNS entries so your TAs won’t be confused with random IP addresses to access your projects.
- ⚙️ Access to serverless platforms including AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers, and Firebase Cloud Functions (part of Google Cloud).
- 📂 Access to object storage services such as AWS S3 and Cloudflare R2.
- ✨ Access to Generative AI model APIs including Cloudflare Workers AI and Google AI Studio.[note:3]
- 📲 Access to things you need to publish mobile apps: Apple Developer Program, App Store Connect, Google Play Developer, and HUAWEI AppGallery Connect.
- 💌 Access to things you need for sending emails, including AWS SES, Cloudflare Emails, and Hostinger Email Hosting.[note:3]
Behind the scenes, I will allocate a burstable budget of up to A$330 (10% VAT incl.) and IDR 555.000 (11% VAT/PPN incl.) per month for cloud computing expenses alone.[note:4] These budgets are applied cumulatively to all cloud computing and networking projects currently running in the semester.
[note:1] These budgets are NOT to be allocated for individual assignments or group assignments that Reinhart is not a member of, for potential abuse and academic integrity concerns.
[note:2] Access and utilisation of these resources are subject to Monash University Student Conduct policies, Academic Integrity policies, as well as related Terms of Service from individual cloud providers, Reinhart Previano Koentjoro, and Citra Manggala Dirgantara.
[note:3] Reinhart is working to grant access to the following cloud services as they commonly require a payment commitment prior to request: AWS SES, Cloudflare Emails, Google AI Studio.
[note:4] “Burstable” means limited budget rollover may apply if the final cost utilisation from running projects of the previous months are below the allocated budget.
